June 2014 Kitchen remodeling with a casual yet sophisticated touch.   The kitchen is the hub of your home. No matter how big or how small, it seems to be the room where everyone congregates and families spend most of their time. Functional space is key, it’s not just the place to prepare and cook food—it’s also used for entertaining guests.  Kim and Doug have four kids and dreamed of a modern white kitchen that would work for entertaining, as well as a ground zero for their kids. With their busy schedules, the kitchen needed to be very efficient and comfortable.

May 2014 Create a comfortable vibe that’s perfect for a living room.   A living room is about living, our goal is to make sure it serves it’s purpose. The first step is to create comfort with conversational seating that’s both visually and functionally stimulating. Leslie exudes warmth. Her family is interested in music, when gathered together they head for the living room and sit uncomfortably and share their love of music. She knew that she needed more seating. She also knew that she wanted the room to be warmer.

March 2014

March 2014 The right paint color has an amazing way of pulling everything together.   Don’t be intimidated by colors. Many people tell me how much they enjoy natural light and I completely understand that. I would just suggest stepping away from your comfort zone, and take a look at different ways to incorporate color into your home. Explore with color, make your decorating style elegant and bold at the same time. While the majority of the walls in this home were a warm beige, in order to create drama, I added BLACK to the office walls. I don’t know of anyone who walked in to this room and felt it to be dark.
